We are looking forward to our campout this weekend.

I have attached a PDF camping list to help the scouts get ready for the campout.
Please know that scouts will be tenting with scouts so not everyone needs a tent.
Also, not every item has to be brought to the campout. I would focus on those items you feel are essential and can be found around the house or purchased at Walmart.
Finally, we are looking at lows in the upper 50s with highs near 80. With these temps, scouts will be able to utilize sleeping gear they can find around the house.
PLEASE have scouts bring water bottles as hydration is key.

I have four adults who will be at the campsite until dinner and two adults staying with the scouts overnight on Friday and Saturday.
If you want to participate as an adult, please let me know by noon tomorrow so that we can purchase enough food for dinners and breakfast. Everyone is responsible for their own lunch on Saturday. Please send me an email at nick.ragsdale@belmont.edu so we know you will be attending and can anticipate your length of stay.

Adult menu
Friday night: Italian seasoned, pan seared chicken thighs, flavored rice, Caesar salad, and dessert
Saturday-Sunday: Joe Egan is cooking and provides some of the best camping meals I have ever had!

Scout menu
Friday: hot dogs, chips, fruit, and s’mores
Saturday:
Breakfast: breakfast sandwiches
Lunch: packed lunch
Dinner: spaghetti
Sunday:
Breakfast: omelet in a bag
Scouts have organized themselves into groups with cooks and assistant cooks. Cooks are responsible for purchasing food, prepping food, preparing food, and organizing helpers for all meals. Please let me know the final cost so that we can reimburse you for food.

Tentative schedule is
Friday: Arrive at 6:30ish to set up camp and eat dinner.
Saturday:
Arrive at 8 am to participate in troop activities
Breakfast for campers
Service project (1-3 hours, please bring a shovel, rake, or pruning shears)
Free time
Lunch
Fishing merit badge (bring your own gear)
